March 2008: See the Sights of the Bible
Google Earth is one of the most amazing free programs ever to be released – it provides real satellite imagery of the world on a 3D globe. Running on Windows, Mac or Linux, Google Earth lets you explore far off geography or simply see a bird’s eye view of your own home. One of the nifty features of Google Earth is that you can also download additional “layers” of information that can be placed on the globe. This month’s feature is one such layer: an opportunity to see the places of the Bible like never before.
